Welcome to Innovest ("Innovest," "we," "us," or "our"), accessible at GetInnovest.com. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, newsletters, model library, signals, events, and advisory services (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Services.
1. Who We Are
Innovest is an independent media and intelligence platform publishing newsletters (including Startup Investor and Innovate & Invest), a library of business models and playbooks ("Models"), short-form observations ("Signals"), events, and advisory services.
2. Content and Intellectual Property
All content on Innovest — including newsletter issues, Models, Signals, and related written material — is the property of Innovest unless otherwise noted, and is provided for informational or entertainment purposes only.
You may share links to our content. You may not republish, reproduce, or distribute substantial portions of our content without prior written permission.
3. Not Financial, Investment, or Legal Advice
Nothing on Innovest — including newsletters, Models, Signals, or Advisory sessions — constitutes financial, investment, legal, or professional advice. Content is for informational and educational purposes only.
You are solely responsible for any decisions made based on Innovest content, including investment decisions, business decisions, or strategic choices. We strongly encourage you to consult qualified professionals (financial advisors, lawyers, accountants) before making decisions with financial or legal consequences.
Innovest, its founder, and contributors may hold positions in, or have relationships with, companies discussed in our content. We do our best to disclose material conflicts of interest where relevant, but this should not be relied upon as complete.
4. Newsletters
Our newsletters are distributed via Substack and other third-party platforms. Your subscription and any data collected as part of that subscription is also subject to that platform's own terms and privacy policy.
5. Events
Event registration is handled through third-party platforms (such as Luma or Eventbrite). Registration, cancellation, and refund policies (if any) for a specific event are set by the terms of that individual registration and are governed by the applicable third-party platform's terms in addition to these Terms.
Innovest is not responsible for the conduct of other attendees at events. By attending, you agree to conduct yourself respectfully and professionally.
6. Advisory Services
Advisory services are offered on a case-by-case basis and do not create an ongoing consulting, fiduciary, or advisory relationship unless separately agreed to in writing. Any advice given during an Advisory session reflects the personal opinion and analysis of Innovest's founder and does not guarantee any particular business or financial outcome.
7. Advertising and Sponsorship
Sponsored content, if any, will be clearly identified as such. Advertising or sponsorship on Innovest does not constitute an endorsement of any advertiser's products, services, or claims.
8. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any content.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Innovest and its founder shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Services, including but not limited to financial losses resulting from decisions made based on our content.
10. Third-Party Links and Services
Innovest may link to or integrate with third-party services (Substack, Luma, Eventbrite, and others). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of these third parties.
